Down Deep In My Box
I just made the tiny square blocks last week, and kept wondering ok what am I going to put with my new Valentine blocks. So I went digging in my stash, and found these heart blocks from a swap past. Perfect ! The blocks look good this way but I am going to place a white fabric with tiny pink dots in strips to separate the 3 rows.
Black & White Purses
My black and white blocks I made for a swap, but I made extra for my quilt . I figure if I am doing these blocks I will need extra of my design, so I whipped up more !

Todays Lunch For The Guys
I only ate a small portion of the sandwich ,but it was so good. I love the crunchy edges with the tomato and cheese !!!
Caprese Sandwich
2 slices of Sheepherders bread,4 tiny heirloom tomato's,real mozzarella cheese, basil herb blend in the tube~
Spread basil herb blend on one side of the sheepherders bread, slice in half the tiny heirloom tomato's place on bread. I use 4 tiny tomato's.Slice the soft Mozzarella cheese and lay slices on top of the heirloom tomatoes. Place the other slice of bread on top and press down. Butter top half of bread and place on hot griddle, then butter other side of the sandwich. Keep a watchful eye as you do not to burn the bread. Keep pressing down the sandwich as it cooks. After a few minutes turn the sandwich to grill the other side of the Caprese sandwich. Remember to press down as the sandwich is cooking. When the Caprese sandwich is nicely toasted and the cheese is melted, remove from the heat, place on a plate and cut in half. Serve with a small side salad of lettuce, cucumber. Enjoy ! This is one of my family favorites!!!
Basil Herb Blend is in the vegetable area of your supermarket in a small tube.
