A Slice Of Pineapple Cheesecake

Pineapple Cheesecake

This no bake cheesecake has a Chiffon filling,light as air. My youngest son made this the day before Memorial Day.The topping is,
crushed pineapple,
mandarin oranges,
whipped cream,
tangerine peel.

Orange You Thristy ?

My Favorite color is orange,
so I LOVE Orange Soda's! Even better
is when you place the pop in the freezer,
let it chill,then when you open the lid,
the soda instantly freezes slowly all the way down the bottle. My dad taught me this when I was around 8 years old.

Don't forget the bottle of soda in the freezer or it will explode! Oh the messes I have cleaned up!

I also like to place the super cold orange pop on vanilla ice cream.
The soda forms chunks of soda ice around the ice cream. You can also reverse this method by using orange sherbet, then pour a very cold glass of milk over the sherbet. Place a cup of milk in the freezer before you pour it over the ice cream to get the ice milk. Yumme

Garlic Toast

4 medium garlic cloves minced ,
1/2 stick of softened butter,
chopped
fresh or dried oregano or basil,
Splash of paprika

Mix the first three items,
spread on your choice of bread,
sprinkle on paprika,
place under broiler,
watch carefully.

I sometimes add fresh grated parma cheese for an extra kick!

Time to cool off in the summer sun !!!! Take one cup of orange juice, one cup of lemonaide,add some frozen strawberries,blueberries,add a splash of amaretto,blend with some ice ,pour into a tall glass sit back and enjoy !!!

My purse I made for summer. The fish on the purse is needlepoint and as extra's I added fish buttons,and a key hook on the side.

Folk Art made by my maternal grandfather. It is made from material like a soft foam which is all hand carved. He painted on the black spots.

Beer

I know your not suppose to freeze beer but I like my beer really cold. This is what happened when I left my beer in the freezer to long !! I'll call this my frozen art work !

Granddaughter's

My oldest granddaughter kissing her new born sister. baby sister is now 8 months old.

Out to dinner

Went out to dinner and met my son's soon to be In-Laws. It was a wonderful night our children are perfect together! The wedding will be next year and their daughter was a fine catch !
