Happy Sunday
I am out the door to go to the movie's today,then to the grocery store. Going to have a cook out tomorrow , and do some sewing.
Have to get busy and get the you tube video's back on line I like !!

Have a Wonderful Day !
Time to cool off in the summer sun !!!! Take one cup of orange juice, one cup of lemonaide,add some frozen strawberries,blueberries,add a splash of amaretto,blend with some ice ,pour into a tall glass sit back and enjoy !!!
Ants At A Picnic
My ant to celebrate the coming of summer,and ants love watermelon! The design was fun to sketch .

My purse I made for summer. The fish on the purse is needlepoint and as extra's I added fish buttons,and a key hook on the side.
Texas Cattle
Folk Art made by my maternal grandfather. It is made from material like a soft foam which is all hand carved. He painted on the black spots.
Rabbits

Japanese Cake Wagashi
I have tried these in Japan and they are so good. I miss going to the little shops to buy them, and the tea ceremony cakes.
Beer
I know your not suppose to freeze beer but I like my beer really cold. This is what happened when I left my beer in the freezer to long !! I'll call this my frozen art work !
Grilled Panni Sandwich
Homemade Macaroni salad and a grilled cheese, prosciutto with dill pickles !
Prosciutto is an Italian word for Ham. Prosciutto is a dry-cured ham that is usually sliced thinly and served uncooked.
Pasta with grilled Shrimp
My middle son made this wonderful dinner for us one night. The grilled shrimp were fantastic !

Out to dinner
Went out to dinner and met my son's soon to be In-Laws. It was a wonderful night our children are perfect together! The wedding will be next year and their daughter was a fine catch !
Hot Donuts
A classic treat when I was young! My dad ,and I would go buy these Donuts early Saturday mornings. We would sometimes be lucky, and see the Neon HOT DONUT sign was all lit up!
My mom would Lightly heat up the Donut's up on a skillet,or she would serve them as a dessert grilled with vanilla ice cream. Even better serve with Hot Chocolate in the winter time ! My favorite coffee Mug !

Ready For Summer
It's time for summer ,and just to cold here. All of a sudden we are having a cold wave coming through,with snowing in the mountains. Everyone is back into hats ,coats and bundled up! I am missing Hawaii weather !
Rosemary
My herbs in the garden and a bed of tiny flowers ! My rosemary is doing great it comes up every year with out me planting it year after year, and it grows bigger each season.
The Cake
Here is my cake for the party after graduation. The truffles were the best I have ever tasted, and the cake was perfect !

The Truffles I sliced in half and placed on top of my chocolate cake. We bought these at a ski resort.
Toasting The Celebration
After the graduation we piled into the cars, and met everyone at the Pizza Kitchen for supper. We were all so hungry ! And yes all the ladies took the keys from the spouses cause the hubbies all had beer.

Beignets
Starting my process of making Beignet's. The word Beignet is French for fritter. I remember trying Beignet's in New Orleans with chicory coffee oh so good! Our waiter brought us a plate piled high with the powdered sugar dusted Beignet's.Oh what a wonderful sight! Once you bite into the Beignet you drizzle honey into the hollow donut and the taste is fabulous.
You can find a great recipe on line ,but for my Beignets I add vanilla,and grated lemon or orange peel.

I'm Hungry
Time for lunch ,got to run to the grocery store now. Birthday cake and fries I made for one of my son's. Favorite food show on TV is the Cake Boss!
