My heart goes out to the Japanese people

What can I say about the tragedy of Japan, very sad this whole mother earth event.I have never liked earthquakes.
May God be with those who lives have been shatter by this tsunami.

I have so many memories of living in northern Japan and going to the beach with the hubby and kids to look for treasures like glass balls that were used on the nets which would keep the nets from sinking in the sea. We made it a game with the kids who ever found the most glass balls got a surprise ,which was a toy I had bought earlier that week in a mama-san store. Or the wooden child's geta(shoe) I found ,and the wooden fishing line on a wooden frame. Trips to Amori to shop and have lunch at a tiny soba restaurant. Our trips to Hachinohi for the weekend and the super sized mascot for that town is a wooden horse. It was bright red and of course we put the kids on top and took their photo. There were many forms of wooden horses all over for tourist to buy. At that time we lived in Misawa and on weekends we would travel out of town and scout out for antiques. The people of japan were so nice and helpful when we got lost in the tiny towns.

Blessings to all those who perished and also

to all the pets.
