Hand made wedding pew cones

Wedding cones I made for the church pews. On top my son placed in a tube of water one daisy flower with babies breath and delicate fern.

grits - PLAYING WITH SASSY COLORFUL FABRICS & YARNS in the Kitchen~

If you're not familiar with the meaning of the word GRITS - "Girl Raised In The South" - that is part of who I am! I'm a Tennessean thru and thru but now part "Cali-girl" and have loved to watch surfing since I was 12 years old ! I love to play with colorful fabrics and crazy quilting....working with beads.....weaving baskets.....and making my own quilt designs. I also love to knit scarves and purses while the radio blares to lively tunes! In addition, I love to watercolor and dabble in pen & ink sketches.

Hmmm!! Now what does that have to do with blackberry cobbler and the kitchen? Well, I always seem to be in the kitchen since it's the place where I create my fabric masterpieces and whip up blackberry cobblers for the pack of hungry "wolves" in my family! A recipe for the cobbler is on the way, so you will be able to whip up some too.

Won't you please feed my fish since they get really hungry! Just use your mouse to click anywhere inside the "white bowl" they are swimming in. Thanks.
