Do you ever wonder how these little creatures fly around with their big fat wings on their backs ! Fascinating to watch only if there is glass between me and the bumble bee !!! Light honey,dark honey,spicey honey so many to try. The taste of the honey depends on the area the bees are from, to the florals the bee's flutter around, as to how the honey will taste.
My favorite way to enjoy our honey is to whip up some homemade biscuits ,serve with some fresh homemade butter,add orange flavoring,a spoonful of powdered sugar, and the zest from one orange.
For a unique taste I use rose water in the clotted cream,and fresh roses in my homemade butter. Just make sure the roses you use have not been grown with any pesticides OH sooooo Good!
My favorite honey was from Japan when we lived there for 7 years. It was an apple honey we found at the Cherry Blossom Festival and that is where the Tsunami hit in northern Japan. It had the most unique taste of any honey I have ever tried. Exactly like a Fresh Apple just picked of the tree. Sweet memories ~ Whip up some biscuits and try your favorite honey for a fun breakfast ,or special occassion. I love English hot tea with my biscuits~
