grits - PLAYING WITH SASSY COLORFUL FABRICS & YARNS in the Kitchen~

If you're not familiar with the meaning of the word GRITS - "Girl Raised In The South" - that is part of who I am! I'm a Tennessean thru and thru but now part "Cali-girl" and have loved to watch surfing since I was 12 years old ! I love to play with colorful fabrics and crazy quilting....working with beads.....weaving baskets.....and making my own quilt designs. I also love to knit scarves and purses while the radio blares to lively tunes! In addition, I love to watercolor and dabble in pen & ink sketches.

Hmmm!! Now what does that have to do with blackberry cobbler and the kitchen? Well, I always seem to be in the kitchen since it's the place where I create my fabric masterpieces and whip up blackberry cobblers for the pack of hungry "wolves" in my family! A recipe for the cobbler is on the way, so you will be able to whip up some too.
